Recap

There is SO much to blog about and I don't know where to begin. Every time I start to post, I become so overwhelmed! We have been super busy lately (as has everyone, I'm sure). So, I thought I'd just recap the last several days.
On Christmas Eve, we built possibly THE ugliest gingerbread house. We ran out of candy because every time we'd turn around, Kendall would have a mouthful (no exaggeration) of candy! Later that evening, we went to my brother, Stephen's house and played games and made homemade pizzas.

On Christmas morning, we all got up and enjoyed opening gifts at our own homes. My parents and my sister, Sarah and her husband, Dillon, came to spend the morning with us and to enjoy watching the kids open their gifts. Then, the entire family met up later in the afternoon for a late lunch/early supper and to open more gifts. Before anyone touched a single bow or unwrapped any package from under the tree, we got one of the best gifts this year when my brother, John and his wife (Sheila) and their daughter, Kate showed up. Kate was sporting a shirt that said 'Big Sister'. We found out they are expecting their 2nd child! FINALLY, someone besides me in my family is pregnant :)

On Friday, Jason's parents, brother and grandma all came in to town for Christmas-Part 3 (for us). We had a great time visiting and the kids LOVED their new jump castle from Grammy :)
Here a few pics from the last several days:

Our new family tradition:
