Halfy Birthday, Posey and a few other things

When Kendall was 6 months old we took her to get her ears pierced. So, keeping with tradition, we ventured out to the mall to get Posey's done today for her 6 month birthday. She was a trooper. We actually made 2 separate trips to get them done because I wanted to make sure that there were 2 employees working that could pierce them at the same time. She hardly cried when they pierced them and as soon as we got in the car, she went right to sleep despite that we had just gotten her up from a nap! I guess all the excitement wore her out! I was a little worried what Noah and Kendall might say. It didn't' seem to phase them, either!

In addition to getting her ears pierced, last week she cut 2 teeth and we're just waiting for her 2 top teeth to pop through at any moment. Have you ever heard of biter biscuits? Posey loves them but they are so messy. They have been a huge hit with these new little teefers comin' in.

This last week was my spring break and Jason's vacation. We decided to have a stacation and opted to just hang around at home. What better a time to potty train?! We did just that. It has been over a year since we potty trained Noah. He has the peeing thing down pat and does it all on his own. However, it's the pooping thing we're still working on with him. So, this past week we concentrated on that with Noah and started the process with Kendall. Kendall took to it immediately and did great! On Monday (day 1) we had several accidents before lunch but it lessened as the day progressed. By Wednesday, this girl had it down! We have been accident-free since Wednesday. I was so proud of her. I even took her to Walmart, Lowes, the mall, and the park with NO accidents! Kendall is so proud to be a 'big girl' and wear panties now. It's really cute to see her so proud!

Unfortunately, no progress (it seems) with Noah. Anyone got any advice? It seems we've tried everything. We've rewarded for him going in the potty (the 2 or 3 times he has gone), we make him sit on the potty and try before nap and before bed (he will hold it until those times when he gets a diaper on), and now we are taking things away (movies, favorite toys, favorite books, etc) every time he poops in his diaper and not on the potty. HELP! I think he's just being stubborn and don't' know what else to do.
